The origins of the Blood Kassassin are deeply-rooted in Jin-Mei caste society, in particular the Jing Ko Caste.

Only Jin-Mei female warriors are chosen for service with the Blood Kassassin.

Its members are passionate devotees of bushido beliefs. The legend of the Blood Kassassin has much to do with the training and instruction they receive from the Shadow People, who come down from The Mountain once every black moon to teach the Blood Kassassin and spread their observations. With each black moon comes the reading of the names of the infidels, sinners chosen by those on The Mountain. The infidels are said to be targeted and killed in precision terror attacks.

The Blood Kassassin are famed for their public missions during which they often give their lives to eliminate their enemy. With each elimination and death comes the washing of the soul on its path to final purification.
